The BodyTalk System has proved to be a safe and valuable healing modality. It is being practiced in many countries throughout the world with exceptional results. BodyTalk sessions are relaxing, enjoyable, & safe since there is only a rebalancing of energy systems throughout the body. |
Many of Us Have Scars Scarring can in fact restrict circulation, lymph and nerve supply to an area. Scars themselves may cause health problems by blocking the body's energy flow. Why is scar tissue an issue? Scar tissue is connective tissue that helps the body to mend an injury. It is a healing mechanism of the body: a framework while the injury is healing, holding structures together like glue. The new connective tissue grows around the scar, eventually replacing it entirely with new skin. If connective tissue heals incorrectly, it can: • Decrease Range of Movement • Compromise Organs and Endocrines • Inhibit Nerve Supply and Circulation • Reduce Muscle Strength And because connective tissue is continuous, if one area of the body becomes affected by any of the above, it can influence the entire body adversely. A healthy scar usually feels soft and flexible and is barely visible. An unhealthy scar can be thicker, tighter, shiny wide, and/or raised, numb, itchy, or tender to the touch, even after many years. Scars have a profound effect on the flow of acupuncture meridians. Imagine a garden hose with a kink in it, where the water slows to a trickle. Well the same thing can happen with meridians (energy pathways) in the body and near scars. To resume energy flow through an area of dense scar tissue, BodyTalk used a technique called "bridging." It's similar to removing a kink in the garden hose. Rooted in traditional acupuncture and manual tissue release work, this non-invasive and safe therapy helps release more energy into the area, fading the scar and making tenderness and discoloration go away. Combined with Active Memory Techniques, in combination with bridging the scar, the results are especially effective ad permanent. ................................................................................................................................. For more information on BodyTalk in general, you can visit: www.BodyTalkSystem.com The BodyTalk System does not rely upon diagnosis and the BodyTalk practitioner does not prescribe, use invasive techniques, or do anything that can cause harm to the body. This makes it one of the rare health care systems that can be classified as totally safe and truly holistic in its approach to reestablishing the optimum health of the patient. It is complementary to all other health care systems and can be used as a stand-alone system or be integrated into any other health care practice. It can also be safely used by the layperson as a means of assisting in the health care of themselves, their family, and friends.
